New service counter, pick-up and drop-off point at Kai Tak AIRSIDE


AIRSIDE, the new shopping and entertainment landmark in Kai Tak, will open at 12 p.m. on 28 September 2023, providing dining, global brands and Hong Kong’s first indoor surf park for citizens and tourists.  The service counter, pick-up and drop-off point of Trans-Island Chinalink located in AIRSIDE will also commence service on the same day.


Daily cross-boundary coach services with frequencies up to every 30 minutes will be provided between Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area cities including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan and Zhongshan.

The creative tourism project #ddHKdesign#HKplaces, organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Commission, will feature "Vivid Tsuen Wan" as its theme.  From August 18th to September 14th this year, 7 stunning art installations will be presented in Tsuen Wan to showcase local characteristics.  Travelers can benefit from the convenient cross boundary coach service provided by Trans-Island Chinalink to participate in this event.

The 7 art installations are located near to the pick-up point of Trans-Island Chinalink in Tsuen Wan, including a group of sculptures called “Ocean Friends” at Tsuen Wan Park; an installation called "Wavy Cycler" located by the waterfront; a landscaping art piece called "Prismatic" in Sai Lau Kok Garden; "Closely Knitted" on Tai Ho Road Footbridge; the "Homeward Bound" sculpture located near Tsuen Wan Town Hall Plaza; "Silver Age" on Tai Chung Road footbridge; and finally, "Into the Landscape" comprised of 3 huge murals.

Concurrent large-scale events include an artistic photography competition, music performances, a scenic harbor run, and themed guided tours and workshop for visitors to deeply experience different aspects of Tsuen Wan.

Starting from 8a.m., Trans-Island Chinalink provides cross boundary coach service between Tsuen Wan and Shenzhen Bay Port running every 30 minutes at most, with the one-way fares as low as HK$50.  Alternatively, China-Hong Kong Express Limited—Tsuen Wan Line offers transfer service between Tsuen Wan and Huanggang Port starting from 7a.m., with services as frequently as every 15 minutes, and the one-way fares starting from just as low as HK$45.  Travelers can conveniently join in and explore the unique local cultural and therefore having a wonderful trip.  For detail of the above events, please visit the official website of “#ddHKdesign#HKplaces” at https://designdistrict.hk.
